Blake.... No salt barn for me...thank God! I shot some slide-offs and bad conditions on the way into the station. Right now we are in the "eye of the storm" with some REAL snow expected later this afternoon/early evening. Right now I'm headed to cover the Governor who's "monitoring the situation...."

Apparantely they cancelled out second shift at DaimlerChrysler in Kokomo. It must be bad because that is almost unheard of.

I fell asleep early last night and woke up at about 12:45 am this morning. I watched it snow for several hours waiting to see if they were going to call off school for my son. At 4:30am I went out and pushed my driveway, my neighbors drives and part of the street, at that time we had about 5 inches. Loaded the ATV up on the trailer and took it to the shop to do that lot. We didn't take service calls today, it's just not worth risking putting a truck in a ditch or getting one in an accident for a 110.00 service call.
It's been raining ice pellets for several hours now and we are supposed to get 3-5 more inches this evening....I'm over it!

My three-year-old snow blower is a similiar model, but it's more work than it's worth right now!

My poor pine trees!! Mine and the neighbors are popping all over the place. Clean up is going to stink! Really surprised I still have power.
