Here is my stupid beagle-hound mix, "Festus." My wife and I adopted the little bugger several years ago. He is hyper, loving, and dumb as a rock. He does have a talent for escape, and can climb chain link fence with ease. If you saw him on a flyer recently, it's because he got away last week. Got him back, though. Post your beast! Bird, dog, cat, fish, llama, whatever.

He looks ...how shall we say... very attentive. Probably never a dull moment there. Here are our "beasts".. This is Kasey (left) and Grady (right) This was right after we brought Kasey home from the Humane Society about a year and half ago.. The bird feeder has one-way glass where they could watch the birds, but the birds couldn’t see them This is Grady now. 18 pounds of spoiled cat. Kasey now.. he’s pretty hefty too. –13 ½ pounds.

Here are my beasts! Mia on the left, Sam on the right, and Harley in the middle.
We rescued him just over a year ago. He is supposedly a Golden/Doberman mix. He's great with the kids, a good watch dog, and has an appetite like you wouldn't believe. Butchering a deer in the garage drives him absolutely CRAZY!!! ;D I'd like to take him out to the farm to run after some rabbits/pheasants, but I have a feeling it would be like the movie Funny Farm where the dog just starts running and never stops....poof....gone!

Here is Sunshine (Sunny) just before she was a year old in 2005. Here she is the other night with the recent decoy addition. She went nuts when I opened the box of decoys.

Some cool beasts. Is that a polar bear or a dog, Dbd870?
Decatur, this thread was for PETS, not failed cloning experiments! Jimmeny Crickets, I think I burned out my retinas on that picture. Shame on you!

Yeah, he's a big one - even for a male. Much more laid back than the female we had and he has 50# on her.

Hey Woody who does this guy look like? His name is Smokey, and he's an old grump bucket! He has to be Grady's long lost brother! Grey nose and all. Grady is grumpy too. You can pet him all day long, but if you PAT him he nips at you. He likes to bully Kasey around too. I think Kasey could hold his own IF he wanted to. I've watched Kasey sit by window and see another cat cut through our yard. His hair stands up, his tail gets bushy and he let's out a low growl. He gets so peeved off that he runs and jumps on Grady. THEN, Grady really backs off as he knows Kasey is serious. Smokey is pretty cat.. .

This is our Yorkie, Sugar Baby Tinker,"Tinky" for short. She's 16 years old this year, my wife found her at a kennel for Yorkies that have been rescued from puppy mills. She's nearly blind and deaf these days, but she's the unofficial "Queen of the house". This is our long haired mini dachshund, her name is Jasmine,"Jazzy" for short. She's 4 years old, a friend of ours who breeds them gave her to my wife to help console her when another Yorkie we had at the time got hit by a car. She's so bonded to my wife that if she's out of the dog's sight for even a second Jazzy will search for her until she finds her. ;D This is my Black Lab, her name is Sheba and she's about 2 years old this Summer. I got her for free courtesy of one of Raporter1's neighbors, or at least courtesy of the dirtbag who dumped her and two of her brothers on their porch one night when they were pups. She's typical of the breed, which is a nice way of saying that she's a general nuisance. This is our cat, his name is Attila the Hairball, "Tilla" for short. The name was well earned when he asserted himself as the official "attack cat" for our home. He's about 6 years old. My youngest son gave him to our daughter after he ran over her cat, and somehow we ended up with him. Life hasn't been the same since...
