Took possession of our new fire station saturday. It will be a couple weeks before we move in but its sure nice to finally have the key in hand.

Congratulations, looks like a great station. Don't know what you had before, but if I know FD's, I'm sure it's going to be a HUGE improvement.
Are those pull-through bays?

The FD that I was on (bbarth was on it too when he was at Purdue, my father is still a member) has a station that is 30 years (or more) old at this point. It was added on to about 20 years ago, IIRC. When I left the department and moved down here, there was a fire fund that had been started for a new station. They should be breaking ground on it in the next year or two.
How many runs does your department make per year? When I left Wabash, we had made ~420 the year before, and it climbed every year I was there. Dad can remember 25 years ago when they were making less than 150....

Couldn't find one with "multiple" children, or of one "holding is hose"!
