PETAs daddy kills animals campaign causing uproar A new PETA campaign has sports and outdoors columnists taking up their pens to rail against it. On September 24 - National Hunting and Fishing Day - PETA supporters passed out graphic flyers to youngsters, encouraging children to ask their daddies why they are hooked on killing. Also, PETA has developed a booklet designed to persuade children that fishing is cruel. The campaign depicts the father as a psychotic murderer, and actually tells the children: Until your daddy learns that its not fun to kill, keep your doggies and kitties away from him. Hes so hooked on killing defenseless animals that they could be next! Meanwhile, a thrice-delayed hearing of two PETA employees charged with animal cruelty and other crimes is scheduled for October 14. In a recent piece, syndicated columnist Debra Saunders enlightened her readers about PETAs track record of killing animals and condemned the organizations disregard for human suffering, concluding, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals doesnt really like people. PETA has no use for ethics. And PETA kills animals. I encourage my 4 year old daughter to ask me why I am "hooked on killing". I explain it to her when daddy goes hunting. I explain it to her when we watch hunting shows together. I explain it to her when she asks why she can't go with me yet. I told her she could go sit with me when she is 6. She does go with me in the summer when we sit in the Jeep and observe the field for deer and turkey and she is very good about sitting quietly and patiently. She even looks through her own binoculars.
So when PETA encourages kids to ask their daddies why they hunt, that might be the best thing for the future of hunting. I hope all fathers explain it to their young sons and especially daughters!

Let them keep pulling these idiotic stunts , with every one they pull they only alienate the public that much more . Personally , I hope they do something really outrageous so that they can be shut down forever .

Unfortunately, there are new fools born every day that are only too willing to buy into this stuff. Perhaps, someday they will be treated as the terrorists that they truly are.
