The part in question was specifically set aside for oil drilling when the ANWR was originally created and should serve the purpose it was created for.

I recall how all the "environmentalists" said that the pipeline would destroy the habitat and the caribou herds. They were wrong then and they are wrong now.

Yes..........but......only if we stop selling the 60% of the oil we currently get from American soil. We have the technology to drill and not be detrimental to the environment.

Definately yes!! We need to utilize the resource so that the self-serving OPEC countries will not have as much of a strangle hold on our economy. The wildlife will adjust to the new environment as they have in the past. I enjoy watching the Alaskan Wildlife as well as the next guy, but at what expense to our economy?
