Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of
Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be
felt throughout the lands of Allah
and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair
still more rejoiced; for
the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah;
and there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!
Considering the verse number and wording it would be more appropriate to Osama Bin Laden rather than Hussein , although both sanctuary and funding were provided to Al Qaida in years past by ..... Iraq !

Duff - I went to the Koran and looked up that verse. That is not what is written in verse 9:11. I believe that part of your post is internet B.S.

I would say that 90% if the emails I get are BS. People love to make stuff up.

You are right, I had a mental lapse and sent this one along. I rarely read most of the email that are jokes or this type of stuff for that exact reason. Oh well, must have been the way the moon, sun and stars were aligned.

I guess that the jokes are my favorite part of emial right along with the wonderful video clips that folks send me. At least with the jokes you know how to take them and can laugh with a clear conscience.

Snakeeye - I am. I read the left behind series and found it fascinating. I will definately find a copy of the Late Great Planet Earth. With everything that we see happening in the world, especially in the middle East, it certainly causes one to pause and think doesn't it?
