BEDFORD, Ind. — A 3-year-old is recovering after being scratched this week by a monkey inside a central Indiana Walmart store. fox59.com/indiana-news/indiana-3-year-old-scratched-by-monkey-inside-walmart/“In an email to FOX59/CBS4 sent Thursday night, a woman identifying herself as the child’s mother said that the monkey’s owner showed paperwork for an “emotional support animal.” However, she said the paperwork was actually registered to a dog.”

The emotional support animal BS has been out of control for years. My daughter had a friend that had a pitbull as an esa. The second time he growled at me in my living room I told her it was not welcome in my home. The next time he did it I would shoot him then and there. I got the usual crap and I told her flat out not to bring the dog back into my house and it is to stay in her car when she visits. I don't blame the animals but she was not capable of controlling the one she had.
I do not know the full story on the monkey. I do not think many of these support animals have recieved the training that should be required. They need to be near perfect behaved to be in public.

It seems like businesses are afraid to offend anyone who feels the need to have a ESA. We live in a world of endangering many to keep from offending a few.
I saw a woman in an Indiana Walmart with a skunk in her cart. She wasn't shopping. There wasn't nothing in her cart. How was just walking around looking for attention. I don't know why stores let this go on. I got asked to leave a dollar store because I was carrying a very small puppy. I had to run in to get a few things and I didn't want to leave it in a hot car.

I'd tell that person that I am offended by their animal (if it's not a true support animal) and lets see how that plays out with the management.

A friend owns a small market that also deals a lot of plants and flowers. They had to throw some crazy woman out that came in carrying a big pet rabbit. Said she sat the rabbit down on a table full of garden plants and it was munching them up like candy when they noticed.
Said the woman raised a big stink but they threw her out anyway.

We have to be careful. If Bedford walmart was to not allow monkeys the span870 and lawrencecountyhunter would have to find a new place to shop. Both of them have long arms that have to keep bent to avoid dragging knuckles. Kind of hunched shoulders and when pushed they scream and throw 'stuff.
