I saw that article yesterday , and I think that it's a bad idea . No better than previous attempts and certain to cause problems .
How long would it take the poachers out there to make the first attempt on them ? Do any of those critters carry a disease that our native wildlife aren't already exposed to ? Do we really want lions roaming freely here ? Lion's have been observed jumping very high obstacles with heavy game in their jaws in the wild , how would you "fence them in" ?
Nope , bad idea .

Being too numerous in population for the habitat to support is hardly my definition of endangered.
The concern of sportsmen and landowners here in the US have taken great steps to ensure that nilgai and scimitar horned oryx among others will not go extinct. Blackbuck have even been restocked in their native India from North American herds, all without the help of university idiots of this type.

Ought to stock a bunch of lions, tigers, etc. in Washington DC. Put them on a steady diet of liberal, beaurocrats & politicians.
On second thought, that would probably poison them.

REad that today. Good luck is all I thought. Who gives these deep thinkers $$$ to come up with crap like this? Besides the same gullible people that donate to AR orgs., the government probably would also.
