I grabbed 8 yesterday, thanks! Solar Water softener salt was $0.75/bag cheaper than Lowes too, so I put a dzn bags in the truck. I use it when hauling fish to stimulate the slime coat.

Broke out canned deer from 2022. Bought a birria ball, added 4 cups of water, griddled with cheese. Served with the consumate as dipping sauce, chopped onions, and lime. Guess i need a couple more deer.

I don't know what you guys do with your deer ribs, but if you're not smoking them, you are missing out! Seasoned salt, garlic powder, Slap Yer Mama Cajun seasoning on two racks and brown sugar instead of the Cajun on the other two. 250° for 4 hours. No bbq sauce needed. Had a hard time getting the racks out of the smoker as they wanted to fall apart too easily.

omegahunter, that looks mighty good. They're delicious! I like the Cajun for a change, but the brown sugar is my favorite. I'll have my Bourbon bbq handy when I reheat them for lunch just in case they start getting a little dry. 225° for about 18 minutes is good for reheating, but keeping pulled pork from drying out. Oh, and I don't preheat when I put it in for 18 minutes. Edit: 18 minutes for pulled pork; takes about half an hour for the ribs.
