Pretty sure it was created by man. First case was at a research facility, just like covid. We are our own worst enemy. Supposedly they don't really know. The disease popped up shortly after they brought in some mule deer for research at CSU. But they were also doing research on domestic sheep and they were in the same pens at times. I believe they were experimenting on scrapie’s looking for a cure.

Mad Cow Disease, correct? Mad cow, CJD, and CWD are all similar diseases, but supposedly separate.
