Real men of genius do it this way. From the local turkey farm.

It's yummy. If you cook this at a party there will be none leftover. Next week...brother in law is coming for doe patrol. This will happen.

Deer burger with whiskey burger seasoning and a splash of liquid smoke on the griddle tonight. I was going to grill these over wood coals but the weather changed that plan.

Looking good! I'll have to check out those whiskey burgers too.
I use that Buffalo Trace seasoning on my steaks sometimes. I'd definitely be interested in trying the Blackstone whiskey burger seasoning.

How did the deer burgers do on the griddle? Is there any fat added to your grind or is it straight deer? I add bacon when I grind it. They do fine on the griddle, but I'd rather cook them over wood coals.

Marinated some back straps and decided I would have two steaks at breakfast and then two steaks for later in the form of jerky!

I just cooked up the tender loins from my deer along with some farm raised duck breasts. While I was cooking my wife made eggs in the basket and pierogi with onions and honey mushrooms. The pierogi came from DAN'S PIEROGI in Highland Indiana. danspierogies.com/I highly recommend this place their soups and pierogi tastes like my mom is in the kitchen. I pan seared the duck breasts till they were pink on the inside and the skin was crispy. The tender loins were cooked in the duck fat over a grill and then finished in the oven. TIP: I would recommend marinading the loins. The meal was delicious however the loins were a bit chewy. Photos attached:

Blackened Grouper on the half shell on the menu this evening that I caught on our family offshore trip this past summer in the Gulf. The thick fillets were brushed with melted butter and then generously coated with Zatarainās Blackened Seasoningā¦canāt beat it!! My favorite eating fish!
