The new edge moultrie cameras you don’t need an SD card & this has stopped all the white out & off color pictures. The lithium battery pack is a nice upgrade as well as I bought an extra & just switch them out when needed. I have the unlimited pro plan $34 month but you can shut them off once a year for 3 months if you want. My buddy runs the cuddleback link cell system & it’s $10 a month for running up to 10 cameras, the cameras are a lot more $ & they take D batteries . The pictures are pretty good , but he gets some whiteout pictures as they have SD cards as well. So I suggest you look at what features mean the most to what you’re using it for to get what you want. Good luck & happy hunting 😊

Before this year I would have recommended Tactacams. However, mine have been dropping like flies. I had two Tactacams that I purchased new in January 2022 that died this year, first one in July and the second one in October. Sent the first one back for repair since the batteries were running out after 3 weeks and around 250 pics. Tactacam said it failed their battery consumption tests and they were not able to repair it. Since it was 18 months old they basically told me to pound salt since they only carry a 1 year warranty. I didn't bother sending the second one in since it is doing the exact thing the first one was doing. Now I have two $125 paperweights less than 2 years old. Good luck in your search, I'll be searching for a company that produces a better product and takes care of customers. X pro with GPS Model ? Reveal X

I have a Reconyx that uses an SD card. With the lithium batteries I think I can get over 20,000 pictures before they start to show any discharge. It's 2 or 3 years old now and still going strong. In the daytime it will get pictures of SUV's and the UPS truck from 150 yards away set at 90° to the gravel road. I had it set on a scrape and it was also getting the vehicles in the distance. Only during the daytime though.
