19th Annual Hunting Indiana Deer Hunting CHECK IN! It IS that time of the year again!This is the official 19th Annual Hunting Indiana Deer Hunting “Contest” CHECK IN thread..1) Teams are five person hunter teams. 2) Points will be - 5 points for antlerless and 5 points plus number of points on a buck. Point = 1 inch or more. ONLY ONE buck will count as a buck, but you may "upgrade".. IOW, if you killed an eight pointer and entered it and later killed a ten point you may replace the eight pointer. The buck replaced will now count as 5 points.3) AGAIN THIS YEAR - After discussing with the Global Mod we still decided to make this for Indiana deer only. Sorry.. All Indiana deer count, statewide, military hunts, park hunts, refuge hunts. The only exception would be deer killed on a nuisance deer permit, at a "shooting preserve" or run over by your truck.  . They do NOT count. 4) Team scores are still just for “bragging rights” only. 5) We would love to see pictures and read the stories of the deer taken, but it is not necessary. It is a fun contest and we are on the honor system here. 6) The deer kill must be posted HERE IN THE CHECK IN THREAD to count in the contest. You may post it elsewhere too, but to count it has to be posted IN THE CHECK IN THREAD. Please give me the Team number when you register your kill. Thanks for participating and good luck! Seems pretty slow for this whole group. Out of 50 hunters only 12 deer killed and the season has been open for at least 45 days now. I know i am not seeing many deer this yr.

I'd hunt every day if I could. Unfortunately, I'm not old enough for retirement, and I'm having trouble finding someone who will pay the bills so I can hunt.
