I got a stupid squirrel that has been entering my cornfield and back to wood’s multiple times….. As a matter of fact 27 times so far this morning. Oh yeah. It’s my cell cam and it’s been constantly going off. Ugh.

I'm done until either I get my new limb assembly from Center Point archery or gun season, whichever comes first. I concentrated more on the top limb than I did on the lower, and it shows signs of splintering on the bottom outside edge from about the middle of the limb to the end of the riser

That can become a dangerous game with a violent outcome. I'm glad you spotted that before it was too late. Best wishes getting it repaired.

Yes this time of year you’re correct…..in the spring it’s a different story!

Finally in a stand again! I,m hoping by getting out here it will get the juices flowing. It's been a tough year at work with stress and burnout. Hoping that mother nature resets all that. Good luck to anyone else that is out tonight.

Slipping to my stand location and a flock of longbeards delayed me. 2 does already at stand and spooked.

Well we went to the Warrick/Spencer County line to Pigeon Creek and all I seen was a empty 2 man stand and a young man sitting on the edge of a cut bean field.

AAHH. I have alot of $ that says squirrlls do not do as much crop damage as deer. Lol. In fact, I would bet deer ,racoons, turkeys and ground hogs do 90% or more. Tree rats would rank low on totum pole on soybean and corn damage.

No hunting for us, but dinner with the family and a cruise thru the sticks on the way home. LOTS of deer out tonight. Saw about half a dozen bucks, and probably 60-70 total deer. Lots of crops coming down.
