I can't believe I'm doing this, but after walking out on the porch, I'm going back to bed. The wind is just too much here, and the hourly forecast doesn't show it slowing. Good luck to those going anyway!

Just got setup with my buddy the amateur cameraman. Hopefully the camera still works after dropping it out of the tree this morning 🤦🏻♂️. Bumped one by the stand on the long walk in. Wind is now picking up a bit.

Finally some good action. Had what I believe are 3 bucks grunting and chasing a doe around. They got the corn out of this field yesterday too. Starting out good….we’ll see!!

I’m on my little piece of private this morning. Camera has pretty much been dead as we’re last couple of sits out here. But I wanna sit in a tree in the woods regardless.

Had a 2.5 yr old 8 in the field behind me. He knew something wasn’t right and turned around and headed back the way he came. He had a small limp to him. Possibly from the chasing this morning..who knows.

Been covered up just no big ones. Chasing by two small bucks. They’re liking the cold weather.

The front come through around 3:30 am this moring and the wind is blowing. 70 to 55 degress in 2 hours.I went out at 1st light and still stalking woods with no stands on the other side. Walked up to 5 feet two squirrels so my stalking was good. Did not see one deer. Hoping the winds calm down for the afternoon to dark hunt.
