I used to live in Benham(Ripley County). Moved back to Madison(Jefferson County) and work in Switzerland County now. I have hunted in Canaan for the past 25 years. I also hunt in Moorefield and Bennington. Glad to see some people on here closeby.

I own ground on 129 a couple of miles south of Olean. I hunt Ripley, Jefferson, and Switzerland counties. I shack up most of the time on Main Street in Versailles with the park within walking distance and the American Legion within staggering distance! ;D The buffalo down by the old coverd bridge look awful tasty. I killed one of my biggest bucks on Hick's Ridge next to the old Lanham place. (-1 for spelling) I also spend quite a bit of time down by Moorefield. NMLRA member, so you can sometimes find me down on the range or quenching my thirst at Friendship's only watering hole.

I'm in Madison(Jefferson County) I have hunted a buddy's place in Ripley and have a sister-in-law that can get me on her grandfather's farms just off of 129 in Switzerland. Still have to go and check them out.

I too hunt near bear branch and brooksburg. Also got a farm south of cross plains by the apple orchard and old school house.

I have hunted the property with the old school and apple orchard. A co-worker of my dad's used to live there. Never took any big bucks but took a few doe from there.
