Does anybody have a rifle in this caliber? If so how do you like it? I came across several rounds of the 243 WSSM today. I was wondering if it would be a very good round for deer. I also got a couple boxes of 7mm WSM ammo in the deal. This is the first I have ever seen in these calibers

1 Rifle, 9 bags of brass, 1 box of loaded ammo that was on Gunbroke. I hope someone else can give you info on the rifle.
If I were to buy a rifle in that caliber I would grab as much brass as I could. Most of the brass was Starline. Your best would to be use it as trading stock for something you need or want. It will be a reloading if you do not already.
I load for .219 Zipper, 50-70 Govt, 30-40 Krag. Also 22 Hornet and 25-20 WCF. All rare and hard to get in normal times but the last couple of years downright discouraging. Not as rare but lately 35 Rem is scarce.
I made my Zipper rounds from 25-35 219 Zipper headstamped ammo is considered collector items. There is a good chance the necks will be split on any original brass. The last production run was in the early 1960's. Starline makes 50-70. Krag is made when ever, same with Hornet and 25-20. 25-20 can be made from 32-20 and .218 Bee. I like reloading so it is not that big of a deal.

A buddy has a 25 WSSM. Luckily he doesn't have feeding issues, but I have heard that feeding issues were an issue with the smaller calibers. No first hand experience with it though.

I have some experience with the 243 WSSM. My father bought a Browning A Bolt chambered for this round. I picked up some dies and we found a recipe it liked. I know dad killed his Wyoming antelope with it. If you are looking to buy a rifle chambered in this round, hit me up, happy to discuss it and discuss the possibility of selling the rifle and all the stuff that goes with reloading it.
