No deer in Indiana, let alone big bucks. Just follow along on Indiana deer hunting facebook pages. Our DNR is terrible they are in bed with insurance companys and farmers, and have killed all the states deer, AND the DNR fakes harvest numbers. LOL...

Amazing, with the high prevalence of CWD in Wisconsin - higher than any other state in the east or the midwest - they're still churning out record book bucks at a rate far higher than any other state.
The future is not necessarily all gloom and doom.

The DNR attacks the CWD area's pretty hard up here as well, having night shooters as well as trapping deer in towns. Opening weekend of firearm it is mandatory to have your deer sampled, you may not transport deer out of red area's for processing until results are received. It slowed my processing business down some this season, closest sampling station was 30 miles away, my crew decided we would all take the class on taking samples then take turns manning a station just up the rd from me. It's only mandatory two days, plus we will get paid per deer to take samples.

Wisconsin deer population is estimated to be 1.6 million , Indiana 700,000. ( Just for comparison ). The population to area is pretty similar. Indiana is 36,418 mi2 and the Wisconsin is 65,497 mi2. Indiana is a little less than half the size and has a little less than half the estimated deer population.

I’d have to say Wisconsin has more deer ground than us by far Look at Indy and surrounding Fort Wayne Around Chicago area If you look a good share from Indy up to MI is big city ground a good share of it is anyway

ESPECIALLY any bucks of significant size. Maybe spike or forky, but that's it. Nothing to see here, move along.
