Finally "Crazy brow" has started to shed. Will be out looking for them this weekend. Being he is hitting this feeder both night and day, he can't be bedding to far away. Been wondering where you been….. that first deer looks Great 👍

It's a wonder that they don't try to get the 2nd half off asap as I'd think it would make their head feel lopsided. Although not to the extent of a moose dropping one side.

I had 15 deer in the backyard a couple nights ago. No antlers seen. At least two were bucks. I'll still probably wait another week or so before I go she'd hunting.

I saw two bucks yesterday and both empty on top. My guess the two 3.5 year old's. Those two stayed together all winter.

Good friend and client that lives just across the border in Ontario sent me these pics this morning. She owns just over 1000 acres and the wild elk herd has made her property home for the last several years, she monitors them and lets the DNR know what the count is and number of calves and sex born each year. She said the DNR has actually given up on them growing and expanding their range, act uninterested when she give's a yearly report. This is a bull she calls Buddy, she found his sheds yesterday. Last bull she calls Spike, he is the oldest bull in the herd. So far this winter she has found 31 moose sheds. The snow is too deep to get around good but she said the good shed hunting is coming. She should have her guide license this summer and will hopefully be taking me moose hunting in the fall.

WOW, that's fantastic!!
Last week I cooked some moose burger that I got from a friend. I like it better than venison burger.

We found two chewed up antlers at my lease. 5 bucks came through the yard today and three were still holding.

My wife saw an 8 point on her way home today that still had both sides I saw the 8 point I posted pics of above carrying last weekend, so he had freshly dropped. I will be out again this weekend weather permitting to walk my neighboring lease looking.
