I must not of gotten the full description or seen all the pics. Because what I did see, did not equate to $250.

I prefer a blind, because undoubtedly way easier.
I have been busted several times by wise gobblers on the ground. But that's what makes it so dang fun.
Blending in to surroundings, camo that somewhat matches, and obviously holding still are the main ingredients.
I've never had a vest, or needed one, as I only carry a wingbone or box call and nothing else.
I think the "lure" catches more fisherman than fish... ie, high dollar accessories are just to make money.
Not harping or griping on anybody that does spend big money. But to see my wifes uncle's in KY and WV in old worn out, dirty, torn and unmatched camo, whack deer and gobblers year after year, leads me to believe common sense and stealthiness beats deep pockets every time. To each their own of course.

To each their own, but there is absolutely no way in the world that I would pay that for a turkey vest...

Used it for hunting and I keep one stocked for our getaway weekends. Best one I have owned. Tons of room.

Mossy Oak has one coming out like a Dixon Vest. Hearing 4 to 450 per vest Here you go...... store.mossyoak.com/products/fox-turkey-vest $450.00 When the Bob Dixon vest was made, it was limited to 1,986 vests for the year Mossy Oak was founded. So for Mr. Fox, we wanted to give him a year of his own. These vests are numbered 1 - 1,944 for the year he killed his first turkey. The rest is history, and here we are 75 seasons later. (For those counting you may notice a couple of years missing. Mr. Fox spent a few years around college with tuberculosis and unable to hunt.) Because of our experience with the Dixon Vest — which became one of the most coveted turkey vests ever made due to the quality, unique style, limited supply and Bob Dixon’s legacy it represents — we've made a few unnumbered vests to ensure a few more folks who want one can get one. The unnumbered vests are made with the same exacting quality and materials as the numbered vests, but each numbered vest has a box of hand loaded APEX Ammunition available for purchase to match the number of your vest. More details on that below. 400 vests (#'s 201-600) will go on sale for the first time at the 2023 NWTF National Convention in Nashville, TN as a way to show our appreciation to the largest gathering of turkey hunters and gamekeepers in the US. Some numbered vests will be reserved for future fundraising opportunities to benefit causes close to our hearts, like Gamekeepers Grants and other conservation projects. All vests are priced at $450. For each numbered vest, there is a box of hand loaded APEX Ammunition numbered to match your vest that is reserved and available for purchase directly from APEX.

No jab at anyone wearing Sitka because I do believe 100% in you get what you pay for as far as hunting clothing. With that said, buying a Sitka turkey vest is just buying the name. Vest isn't anything more than what a nomad or cabelas tatr 2 is but has a Sitka label slapped on it. This is coming from a complete, oh I gotta have that turkey addict

I got my vest from Midway USA on sale for $50 a couple years back. It's their Full Strut model. Their price now is $70. It has all of the features I need and more. I've learned to fight the temptation of filling all of the compartments just because they are there. I did add a foam pad to the seat cushion as it was a little thin. I recommend this vest. Maybe they'll have another sale before or after the season.

I saw the Sitka vest at the NWTF show when we were setting up the Tethrd booth. It’s pretty slick, but something like that is definitely not for me at that price point.
