Looks like a lot of places have it in stock now. Better stock up before its gone. Looks like more TSS options out there.

I picked up a box of 25, 12 Ga. 3" 1 5/8 oz. #5 upland magnum shells made by Browning. Cost was a little over $1 a shell.
These have only 1/4 oz less shot than the Remington Nitro turkey loads I normally shoot. They are 1350 fps, around 150 fps faster than the Nitros. Going to pattern them to see what they'll do. Another possible and cheaper option to think about when "turkey" loads get scarce.

Then I got a box of TSS #9, and when legal, I killed my bird near 70yds. Seen it many times, changing choke tubes can make a huge difference. I have several dedicated turkey tubes, but once I got the Indian Creek, it was a game changer, and has shot most shells I have into decent patterns. It doesnt take much to kill a bird as long as its reasonably close. My wifes uncles only use 20ga with small game shot and always kill multiple gobblers in their surrounding states. They only hunt in the wooded hills tho, where up north here we hunt open fields, so longer shot opportunities are common.

I’ve got a ton leftover from years past. Fortunately dont need any for a while as I may possibly try to take another with my bow this year.
