A few of my coworkers enjoy venison. I'm making Austrian style braised venison shanks tomorrow evening, to bring to work on Friday. Using Hank Shaw's recipe as a guide. I highly recommend his book titled Buck, Buck, Moose.

The next best thing to my own home cooking is to find somebody else to cook for me. That's what I did since I'm working crazy OT on an Ultrapure Water System in Ohio this weekend. Got "Mimi" from Mimi's Cafe to set me up with some awesome Corned beef special:

Todays wild buffet will consist of doves wrapped in bacon to be cooked on the grill while being smothered in BBQ sauce. Lake Michigan Lake Trout basted in melted butter and coated with blackening seasonings to be blackened in a cast iron skillet. I will also be making grilled asparagus that is wrapped in maple smoked bacon.
The wife will be sauteing Morel mushrooms in butter and making eggs in the basket.
PHOTOS TO FOLLOW.

There is nothing in this world that compares to the taste of MOREL mushrooms.

I’m beginning to think there is nothing in the world that compares to eating at duster’s house!🤠 I am humbled by this kind comment, as I get older I find more thrills in learning how to cook up my my harvests than I do in gathering the harvest. THANK YOU!

He's on Spring Break so grandson Tyler says, "I'll make dinner tonight!" And he does not disappoint!

No homemade bread for that dinner! But good stuff for breakfast this morning! Topped with Imported Dutch Gouda on one half of a slice and DeRuijter puur Chocoladehagel on the other half!

Here’s a little snack we make up every few weeks. I cooked two pounds of thick cut bacon on the pellet grill and then used about half or so to make these little cream cheese pickle bites. I used two packs of cream cheese, diced up five pickle spears, added onion powder, season salt, and a little pickle juice. Mix that altogether and then form out the little bites the size you want. They are dang tasty.
