Just curious, are there many duck clubs in Indiana; either buy in type of yearly membership? Growing up in California there were a lot of them of all types. My grandma and grandpa were caretakers on a high dollar club for 25 years...used to spend all summer there running around catching bass, catfish and frogs. Was sitting here wondering, so thought I'd ask.

Gene if you are the Mean Gene from Montana/South Dakota/California and now your planning on moving to Indiana my advise to you would be DON'T!
This state has very little to offer a sportsman. Stay out West make family come to visit you.

Buyer beware for Indiana duck clubs.
Used to be a bunch up in NW Indiana around the Kankakee marsh. Sounds like it has been rough over the last 10+ years. Featherduster can speak to the current state of duck clubs up there, as well as a few others.
I joined a club in West-central In and it was an absolute bust. There were mostly specks and snows. The owner/coordinator only wanted to hunt ducks and honkers despite wave after wave of huntable birds. I tried to persuade him to shift his tactics but he wanted to live in the past when we had no snows or specks and lots of honkers.
If you are willing to drive 4+ hrs I would look in south central IL. They have way more waterfowl and historical clubs. I hunted a few for snows around Centralia. If I had time and $....I would look there again. But I have kids and work full time so not realistic to dive over there several weekend a year.
Missouri would be another potential.

Stay out West make family come to visit you. Here we only see our grandkids maybe once a year, usually less. We've been snow and ice for almost 2 months. Hasn't been any open water since late October. Have already had a lot of below zero weather. There comes a time in life where there are things much more important thank killing a duck.

The convenience was great, the hunting good occasionally, but so-so for the most part. I always did better on local public ground.

South of Columbus is Muskatatuck wildlife refuge. It is not huntable for waterfowl so field around it are leased. Maybe a club or two that would be worth nosing around.
We have a few members here that live in that area. Not waterfowlers but maybe know more than me what is available

I'm not going o drive 4 1/2 hours just to hunt for one day. I have a 16ft cargo trailer that is insulated and wired for 30 amp shore power, and it makes a heck of a good bedroom. Obviously something a bit more permanent would be more ideal.
