So my son tells me he wants to go high foc arrows for next year, and he wants grizzlystick massia broadheads in 200 grain. So I received them but have no idea on setup or arrows. I have researched it some online but looking for some real world input. They sell weight forward arrows but are they necessary with 200 grain heads? I,m guessing he needs 300 spine arrows. 27.5 inch draw length at 67 lbs. Shooting a 29 inch arrow. Am I wrong in my thoughts or input from someone already using hi foc would be appreciated.

If you want to look into some of this stuff Ranch Fairy has a ton of info out there on it. I’ve considered this myself for several years, but have yet to take the dive.

I dipped my toe in but decided I didn't have to the time to properly develop and tune my setup. I ended up with slightly heavier arrows, stuck with my current 100 gr broadheads, and put 100 gr of weight in the tip. It definitely helped with penetration.
