Well we are officially on the board in central zone.
Had a nice shoot this morning. 3 generations and one of our friends.
Enjoyed a nice shoot with my Dad and my son. Ended up with 8 big ducks. All mallards and gads.

Just back from Arkansas. We are on the board there as well. Ducks and snow geese in a total white out Thursday.
Was some crazy weather for them. But we had a blast with 3 generations and 2 close friends in the blind.

But we had a blast with 3 generations and 2 close friends in the blind. My neighbor just got back from Arkansas yesterday. Said the first 3 days were pretty slow, but said the cold front rolled in Thursday afternoon and had their daily limit in 10 minutes. He said it was one of the neatest things he’s ever seen, hundreds of birds rode in on that cold front, just looking for somewhere to get down. |

Keeping the board hot this morning. All 3 generations out again and a friend.
Man what a shoot. 4 man limit of Greenheads and a pair of Cotton tops. All feet down in the decoys. 30 yards absolutely the longest shot taken. Still have birds in the decoys while waiting on some geese.

Yesterday was slower. Wasn't on the X and birds didn't want to play. Needed a little wind for decoys. But scratched out 6 more greenheads.

I pass all the waterfowl guys loading up on the Ohio every morning.
Not sure how they travel the river that fast in a boat. Gotta be freezing.
