While traveling in Southeast Missouri this week, I made a stop at the Cape Girardeau conservation center. I had stopped just to see if I could pick up any new birds on a quick birdwatching walk. When I stopped into the center, I listened as that was great concern from the staff over hundreds if not thousands of waterfowl That have been found dead in many, Southern, Illinois lakes! Testing within the next week will probably show avian flu as the results, Twas the main discussion.
