Just ran down to the farm to feed calves and had a grouse standing in the drive. #27 for the season!

Budd lives in the very northern reaches of Minnesota. In that case I need gps co-ordinates for next season!!!!! Park Falls, Wi is called the Ruffed Grouse Capital of the world. There's lots of public ground up there. Just have to watch it with running a dog with the wolves in the area. I have a picture somewhere of my Dad's Cousin sitting on a log with a grouse not 2' from him. This was probably 20-30 years ago though. Bob is long gone. |
