And he got beat by a girl! Both were trying to win their first race. She had the faster reaction time (.061 to .065) and won by .0002 seconds. (about 1") His car was a wee bit faster than hers 5.258 to 5.262 - she is a 3rd generation racer. Good for her! He's been making practice runs in a TF car. I don't know what he will be driving for next year, it wouldn't surprise me to see him with a 3 car team next year, one FC, two TF cars. |

Tony Making it to the final round on his first ever attempt at winning a national meet is pretty damn amazing.
She is 20 years old, it was her first ever victory on a national level and the pressure was on with all the hype about Stewart.
A win win for both and NHRA.
