Look at them scores! Everbody is rockin this year! Congrats hunters!!! It's not looking good for me this year. I wouldn't be shocked if I get skunked for the first time in my short hunting career. I'm pretty sure my best spot is blown up.

Man there's some teams with some pretty tough scores to beat thus far. Way to raise the bar this year guys, but don't count out the little guys. Still plenty of season left for a Come back upset, let's go Team 😁

Woody, can you add another doe to Team #1? I walked out of the house to the barn, decided to look down the shooting lane and there were 3 standing there. Roughly 275 yds with the .308 but I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Picture to follow.

Here's the picture: About 3:45 I walked out to the barn and something told me to peek around the corner of the lean-to and look down the shooting range. Something looked a bit weird, so I grabbed the .308 and 2 cartridges. I grabbed 2 boat seat cushions that I use to sit on when at the shooting bench and snuck over to the shooting bench. I put one cushion on the ground to kneel on (didn't want to get wet knees) and the other one went on the shooting bench. I turned the power up to 10x on the scope and looked down the shooting range. There were 3 standing there. I took a look at where they were standing, put the crosshairs right on the fur at the top of her back and squeezed the trigger. I heard the bullet impact, and watched her go down in the scope. She kicked a few times and the other 2 deer ran off. I was pretty close with the yardage estimate, she was about 25 yds in front of the 300 yd target butt. I had planted clover on the shooting lane and they might have been browsing on it. Here's a pic of the rifle but the pic is from last week in Wi. The 180g Accubond did the trick, about quarter sized exit.
