Homeowner sent me this pic this morning. Geese got ran out of all the usual spots over the weekend. Now they are piling in to this spot. If only they will stay content for a couple more days. But I've seen it before many times. Here today and never to be seen tomorrow when I show with a gun....  |

12 ga 3" mag is all that is needed and 2 3/4" will get a bunch of birds dead if they are decoying. I use Kent Fasteel.

We killed 3 this morning. 1 single came in. Dead. Then we had a group of 12 or so come in and circle us then drift to the other side. Some quick action kept them from touching down and the flew about 30 ft over the ground all the way back to us only to short us about 80yrds. Thought they were gonna walk up but never did. Stayed only about 10 mins and left. Then we had a triple come in and land 2 on one side and the single landed just out of range. 2 dead. All 3 some rough and tough ground and pound with 2 guns blaring away at them. Lots of shooting in the area. Having a problem loading the kill shot. |
