Complain about gas prices all you want. Nobody is complaining about diesel prices. What would ya say if you were paying $5.00+ for a gallon of gas? What gets me is that in Kentucky (I was there yesterday) diesel prices are up to $1.00 lower than diesel prices in Indiana. Why is that? You can't tell me that there is $1.00 different in state taxes on diesel. My diesel excursion basically sits unless we are camping. I put $50 in it to get us to Bloomington and back a couple times and that’s it. It hasn’t moved in three weeks right now. Can’t stand paying the diesel prices. Went to get some off road diesel for the tractor and I had to wait in line for two trucks to fill up in front of me and neither were farm trucks, but at .50 cheaper per gallon I can’t blame them.

Unfortunately I don't have that luxury. I had to drive to Murray, KY to pick up a load of Channel Cats to stock in a pay lake in Noblesville yesterday. 8 hours one way, 10+ coming home because of rush hour on the West side of Indy and stocking the pond there. Left KY around 10 am, got home @ 10:30 pm. Didn't stop to eat, grabbed a sandwich at a truck stop and ate while on the road driving.

That a pretty good healthy fine if caught! www.in.gov/isp/commands/commercial-vehicle-enforcement/dyed-fuel-enforcement/

Gas tax difference is about 11 cents a gallon between Indiana and Kentucky.

And just remember diesel is what transports everything we use. That inflated the price of everything.
This war on fossil fuels is crazy. The rest of the world is laughing at us.

Average Gas prices are creeping back up.
Five days in a row they have increased.
I’m Evansville and Newburgh they seem to be be coming down. Several stations in Newburgh are $3.14 a gallon.

Went to town yesterday I took 200 bucks thought that would be a plenty filled the truck granted is was low but 113 and change went to Kroger bought some staples milk bread coffee creamer fruit and the likes only meat I bought was a package of lunch meat 82 bucks now that will last me a bit but still I barely had enough left to buy a coffee on the way home.
And to top it all off they raised the interest rate So housing is slowing down so my pay is going to reflect that along with a millions of other peoples who work in that industry
What a plan maybe now I can get some of that free money they keep handing out or at least I keep hearing it’s free

Our gas is higher in NW IN. Been around $3.86. Yesterday, went to put gas in truck, and get some for mower. Saw two stations that were at $4.39.9!! That's 55cents overnight! I got home and looked on line, not all the stations jumped. Supposedly those stations dropped back to the $3.86 area. Don't know what in the h**l is going on.....

During our travel to Myrtle Beach and back, we definitely noticed the gas difference we got south of Indianapolis. We were consistently finding gas from Kentucky south between $3.12-$3.29 a gallon. We filled up last night just south of Edinburgh at a circle K for $3.89. I told Daphne, "Yep, this feels like home again".

2 weeks ago when I was coming back from Arkansas, just West of Memphis but still in AR I saw a station that advertised gas for $2.989/gallon when the other stations were $3.09. Lots of cars in a line there to get gas.
Go fill up the tank with diesel and tell me how cheap it is...... If ya'll are wondering why all the prices are high at the stores, look at diesel prices.

2,445 miles of windshield time from noon Monday until 7pm Friday with only about 50 miles clocked on Wed. I saw diesel prices from $4.43 to $5.79. Here to Oklahoma to Kansas to Nebraska and back home.

Since I have quite a few machines that run on diesel and I have supply of free used vegetable oil from a buddy of mine, I’m going to make my own biodiesel over the winter.

I’m gonna add some kerosene to it so it doesn’t gel up.
