It's not Ludington but it was still a great day.

Ludington has been on fire this fall with numerous Kings in the 30 pound+ category but since our group has lost our connection with that area we are no longer fishing up there.
We now fish out of St Joe Michigan aboard the "IN THE BOX" charter.
We were scheduled to fish last Monday and Tuesday but Mother Nature had different plans with 5'-8' waves over those 2 days.
As a last minute idea we were able to get a charter for today so Schall53,me and our good fishing buddy Bruce met at the dock this morning under a star studded sky and calm winds.
We ran out to 95 feet of water and started setting up and as fast a we could get the center rigger rod set it went off twice and both time we landed Lake Trout.
The Trout action was so good we had our limit of 12 Lakers by 8:30 with one of them being around 13 pounds.
Once we limited on trout we focused on Kings and Bruce caught a nice double digit fish.
We also lost a couple just because they came unbuttoned.
All in all we had a great morning of fishing to close out our Lake Michigan trips for the year.
