Better than most cops these days. I just hope they do not find he hit someone else. The stress level had to be out of this world. To advance against a rifle armed with a pistol and score 8/10 is flat out awesome. I would like to see a toned video of what went down during the shoot out. Two people were injured. One was from shrapnel.

This young man did a great job. He kept his witts about him and did exactly what was needed to stop the shooter from killing and maiming many more innocent people. I applaud him. As licensed, trained gun owners, we should all follow his example. I carry a lightweight compact 1911 chambered in .38 Super each and every day. I also have a factory fit 9MM barrel that can be swapped into it in about two minutes. In .38 Super, it shoots a 124 grain HP at 1350 FPS.

Police have a protocol they go through… armed citizens don’t! Big difference IMO Dammed if you do dammed if you don’t!

There won't be any legal fees. It was a clean shooting by the young man(shouldn't be any charges) and if there are Guy Relford has agreed/been retained to represent him pro bono.

I wish Indiana had a law on the books like Illinois does. That is the only thing that Illinois got right. I believe it is if a shooter is not convicted of a crime then he cannot be sued in civil court by the family of the person they shot.

I might try 10 shots at 40 yards with my glock 19 9mm it should be amusing anyway. I usually don't shoot more than 15 yards

I want to get out and shot my Rugar 9mm, but my shoulder is not ready yet. Maybe in a month or so. If needed like this young man I will use it now, shoulder or not. I will be getting my crossbow out soon. I think I can handle that right now.

Shot 5x hit 10 ring with first and shot a rough 6" group with others. Not bad for 40 yards, a little windy so I'm sure some of it was luck. It has always been a shooter, though. It shoots a pretty tight group at 15 yards.
