Are you talking about Kyle the call maker? I don't think he makes calls but I could be wrong...

Kyle hasn't been on here in a long time. Still plenty of good dudes ready to kill ducks and geese, though.

Still check in a few times a month or quarter. Not much to talk about any more.

I will make an attempt to kill a few ducks about a half dozen times a year. Seems like most all are local birds, so once you shoot up a pond, they find another.

The waterfowl board was pretty active at one time. Lots of posting.
Then someone organized a Central Indiana Delta group and started a ProBoard forum. I did most of the work setting it up for them. Mr. Nice Guy, that’s me. That was pretty well cutting the throat of the waterfowl section here.
Then that Delta went under and I don’t know where the waterfowlers went then .
The one waterfowker I really miss is shootsa410. He was not only a good member but a good person too.

When proboards banned gun and ammo sales that site got shut down because they refused to follow the rules. Then there leader came here and wanted you to change forums also or jump off the cliff with him! That obviously didn’t happen….

Duckhunter.net was one of the original message boards. It only takes a few changes and people quit using it. Couple troublemakers or wanna be pro staffers run the board into the ground.
Facebook groups hurt the message boards too.
Finally the birds are just not as plentiful as they used to be. There are a select few areas in Indiana but not like it used to be. Hard to get excited.

I considered going with a paid site but that would mean almost starting all over again. The Delta site had a few dozen members and we had 4 or 5 thousand at the time. Big difference.

DUFF: you hit the nail right on the head! Duck hunters nowdays just don't get it, it's all about them and not the sport.

I met and hunted with quite a few fellas from here over the years. I have met some life long friends on the forums. One trouble maker in particular I still talk with quite alot.
What ever happened to the HIT SQUAD fellars...
