It is sunny and 21' in suburban Ari. About an inch of snow fell last night. Just a little breeze.
It is a classic winter scene with the snow covered trees and ground. Just a few clouds in the sky.

We got 4 inches snow in Rolling Prairie and 16 deg right now. I was supposed to haul some stuff on my trailer for a buddy, but think I'll postpone that to be safe.

With this sun, I bet the roads will be clear and dry by noon. Roads were mostly good. Plenty of slick spots in the shaded areas here all day, but a ton of salt on the roads. I also didnt want to give my trailer a salt bath. I am despising that crap anymore! The load delivery wasnt important, so will wait for another day. |

The salt will be gone Tuesday night, but they may put more down on Wed. When I went to Ohio last Monday there was so much salt dust in the air on Rt. 30 that it looked like fog and in the heavier areas I could taste it.

Boy, 2" hail would get ugly real fast! Unless you need a new roof… My sister got a new roof and the aluminium siding replaced last year over in Illinois. Clear blue skys and 61' here in Ari. This time of year that is perfect for breeding bad weather. |

Radar loop doesnt show much development still. Rolling in from Chicago up that way….. The North side of Chicago got hammered, it's over towards Grand Rapids now. No clouds in the sky here but a nice light show up north. Maybe around 3am for us, but they've called wolf so often I don't believe them. |

My son is out at Lake Tahoe skiing with his friends and starting late today the forecast is 7-12 feet of snow. This group goes somewhere every year for a week of skiing.
