So we pass the clean air act get rid of gas than burn corn that makes smog sounds like a plan to me all to save ten cents a gallon so the average person is going to save what 3 maybe 4 bucks a week.

AaaaND...hafta fill up more anyway, seeing as how ethanol has less energy per gallon than gasoline. So we're literally burning food - to pay a little less to be able to get to work, so we can afford food. How is this helping?

But your not paying less it’s more because your mpg goes down so you have to buy more gas to get to the same spot

Saw where the government is resuming lease sales for exploration on Federal land, after raising the royalty rate to 18.75% from 12.5%.
About dang time. 12.5% is way, way lower than they pay private landowners. 18-20% is pretty average.
Now I would like to see them stop giving away timber rights. I have no problem with timber harvesting, but doggone it get a fair price.

Lol… Biden is seeing the handwriting on the wall. 33% approval rating is pretty scary. “Forget campaign promises, we’ve got an election coming up”! “The Bureau of Land Management will begin issuing final environmental assessments and sale notices on Monday for future oil and gas projects and will offer for lease "approximately 173 parcels on roughly 144,000 acres, ** an 80 percent reduction from the acreage originally nominated,** " BLM stated.” ** Emphasis is mine. One has to wonder if this could be prime oil producing ground or dry well country.

Well, my point was, stop letting them go too cheap.
Same with logging rights.

What I have never figured out is why our corn beans wheat doesn’t cost more when we export it
Think of it like this you want a 100 bucks for a barrel of oil we want a 100 bucks for a bushel of corn we got something they want and need they have something we want and need don’t like it fine eat your sand see how it taste
What really gets me is our government has control of our timber oil mineral rights not all of them but a bunch more than they should. They sell it off to other countries or interest and we never see the benefits of it. Just look at the AK pipeline were does that oil go

Well I don't have any documentation to back up what I'm about to say as I'm sure that my theory is probably full of holes. However with the pandemic and everyone out there getting their stimulus money along with the child tax credits, which oddly enough didn't really affect my tax return all that much. Supply chain shortages and now not to mention the billions that we are sending to Ukraine to help them defend their country from "Stalin".
It just seems way to "convenient" to me that the price of gas is as high as it is to pay off this massive debt that we have incurred over the last 2 years. Now I"m sure that some people are willing to say that "we are in the process of switching over from the winter blend to the summer blend" or "The refineries aren't running at full capacity" because of this malfunction or this upgrade.
Lot of smoke and mirrors out there ladies and gentlemen.

Now with Easter over I bet the prices go way up. Maybe the elections will keep it under $5/gal.

They dont know what to do at this point, out of options imo. Everything has backfired and the ship is sunk. They wanted WW3 and Ukraine didn't work, the pandemic had little effect and now it's China fake news. With over 1000 company employees working in China none are locked down and no pandemic they know off. I asked a few on Saturday and then let me know this morning at 5:45am
