Anyone get trees this year from the DNR I believe this is the first year in 20 years I’m not planting any

The school that my wife teaches at gave away to all 4th graders (she teaches) white oak trees. She is coming home today with some extras. I can't believe she asked me last night if I wanted any!!! It's in my blood to plant at least a few trees each year.

I transplanted some Burr Oaks that I started my self is it. Them Burr Oaks produce some of the biggest white oaks there is, The acorns are the largest of any North American oak |

They are huge grephopper. I have never seen anything like them I planted a bunch more nuts too.

It's been a couple years since I've planted many. Have planted around 40,000 trees on our place in the last couple decades.

I just finished planting and caging 5 free white oak trees. Just in time for spring. Felt like winter.
