Just curious on how some of you winterize your boats each year. What type of products work best and when the best time to do it is.
Thanks in advance.

Fuel is the only thing I concern myself with. I do not like storing my EFI with ethanol in the onboard fuel system components so I like to run non-ethanol in it last time out. I will connect a small portable tank with non-ethanol to it. Any ethanol left in the fuel tanks during the winter storage will be siphoned out and replaced with fresh fuel before the 1st time out. Other than that, it sits in the garage which is heated.
If it were to sit outside, I would likely change the lower unit lube and let it sit with the motor trimmed all the way down to keep water from sitting in the hub and freezing.

Not much to worry about with the four strokes. I keep the tank full of premium non ethanol fuel and put some additive such as Sea Foam in the gas. Tilt the outboard vertically so any and all water drains out. Park it in the garage.
A battery maintainer, trickle charger wouldn't be a bad idea.

Outboards are easy. When I worked on Lake MI we would run the outboards with antifreeze then spray a fogging oil into the intake until the motor died.
Way overboard. I do same as above except not stored in a heated garage. Biggest concern is water freezing and breaking stuff when it swells.
Check the lower unit oil for milk. If so drain and replace with fresh gear lube.

We drain all fuel, shut fuel valve off and run until they die. Remove lower unit plugs, dump rv antifreeze in live wells and bilge pumps. Mine set out all winter tarped. This year a guy 15 miles away started shrink wrapping, may try it out after next week, fishing has been on fire the last couple weeks .

I always run non ethanol fuel in my outboard. Last time I use the boat before storage, I'll fill it with fuel before going to the lake. I'll then stop on the way back to the ramp and dump in a bottle of Sea Foam, then run the engine another ten of fifteen minutes. When I get to the unheated garage where I store my boat, I will trim the motor down to allow all water to drain out of the lower unit. Cover it and turn off the lights.
