One of our older bucks. 7.5 plus. Went backwards this year. Pics on trailer found yday other last years. That is one heck of a set of antlers if you had to use the trailer to haul them.

I saw more deer this morning that were hit on the road last night than I have since the rut started. One was mine. Oh NO, I hope it wasn't bad.

Nope, it wasn't bad it just busted the front right fender well of my 99 jeep. I was only about 200 yards from the road that I pull in for work. I think think the reason for so many deer getting hit this time of year is that they are attracted to the salt that is put down on the roads when it snows. Just my theory.

That sounds like a reasonable assumption.

Tell us how you plan on using all this and what seeds please Thanks 6-24-24 is for my legumes (Alfalfa, clover fields) Will be applying shortly to existing fields and plots per soil test , 15-15-15 is used for corn or cereal grains (Oats, sorghum, wheat etc.) and fall brassicas. The UREA is to top dress my corn once its established. The lime is used to maintain soil PH as needed. (Try to keep PH in the 6.0-6.5 range.) I did not get any corn planted last year, but am planning on planting about 6 acres this year, most will follow older clover and alfalfa stands. Have a couple new clover/chicory/alfalfa plots to do this spring as well.

Lime was about $5 for 40pounds and 12-12-12 fertilizer was $12-13 for 50 pounds. My clover fertilizer had to buy at the coop, rural king doesn’t carry 6-24-24.

With my brother help I was able to get the ladder stand installed. I put it in a cedar tree and that was a challenge. I also setup the 4 swarm traps. I was to tired for pictures plus my phone was on the car. I was worn out. When I was leaving the spring peepers were very loud. Here is a short video. youtu.be/VmSk8BDAGRg

I always think about control burns and I have watched a lot of youtube videos on it but it scares the crap of of me to try it. My luck I would set the HNF on fire and burn a few hundred acres and I would never get to retire.

Budd, do you use a generic? I have some left from last year but for 41% 2.5 gallons is $120. Last spring $49. Lol
