And I know how to use them.
I though I would go out one more time before we get rain and take advantage of the low water conditions to try to add some more frog legs to my stash for a few winter brunches.
It's very difficult to get to them because the water has receded about 8 feet leaving sock sucking mud between shore and the water.
The other bad thing is if you do gig one you shove it down into the muck and it's very hard to get them out without pulling the gig out of them.
I added 7 more nice ones and with that I think I will hang up my gig till next year.

I need to retire to have time to play in the mud. Just like a kid a long time ago. Nice and congrats.

We would use three people and 10 foot jon boat. Guy in front with gig, middle guy with spotlight and back guy paddling. And beer. I just got some at Beef House and they were good and not much work. Those look good though!

7k farms is a good place. They’ve supplied a lot of stuff to the cordry/sweetwater ox roast and their fish fries.
