I'm about as hard core conservative Republican as it gets, supported Trump, voted for him, etc., felt like he did a good job, but his time is past. He flat blew that last election (despite the possibility of cheating) with his big mouth, arrogance, and huge ego. It would have been an easy win, had he simply kept his composure for six months and acted like a gentleman.
Seems like every day we hear in the media about "the Trump party" or the Trump Republicans" and his ongoing B.S. I don't think he is electable in 2024 and the Republican party needs to distance themselves from him and get aggressive searching for more desirable candidate(s).

Trump 2024 will be a disaster. I wish he would go really far away.

I don’t think he should go away but I would like him to get behind another candidate and announce it to his followers. I believe people would vote for whoever that would be. I like his thinking for America but his ego can get in the way for some people.

I said it over and over again that he needed to get off the d#$n Twitter.

Before it even became crunch time with the election, I was telling my friends and family that every time he opened his mouth a republican voted democrat. I also understand that he was trying to keep his power base close to him with all the rhetoric he was saying however there comes a point where even the most die hard conservatives had an "ah ha" moment. Who ever the republican party decides to endorse for 2024 I will take my same approach as before and pick the best candidate whose values and ideals are best aligned with mine.
Just hope that the mid-terms make the playing field a little more even.

If you look @ the mid-term election results, (in more recent times) the party holding the White House tends to lose seats. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_midterm_electionAs far as Trump goes, he was his own worst enemy due to his stupid tweets and I don't think he has a snowballs chance in h*ll of winning in 2024.

More than half the country loved a president that spoke loudly AND carried a big stick! Love him or hate him, he got results, didnt take any crap, said what he thought, and got SCREWED in the election. I'm voting for him again!

Love him or hate him he did an excellent job until the Communist China Covid hit. He did a pretty good job after that too and got very little credit for the Covid response. That was in spite of everything the Dems and the Media threw at him.
Did he go overboard with some of his tweets? Yep, but some on the receiving end pretty well deserved it. I'd rather see a someone stand his ground than capitulate to the Dems and the LSM.
Would I vote for him again? Absolutely. Of course I'd vote for just about any Republican over the present choice of Democrats. I do like Desantis and Cruz too.

I think nearly all Republicans would vote for Trump if he were the nominee (as the vast number of registered Republican voters surely wouldn't vote for a Democrat no matter who it was).
And whether it's because he loses in the primary or decides not to run again (on his own or because his wife says she isn't going to go along with it a third time) I just don't believe Trump will be the Republican nominee for 2024.

Don't forget that it could be the media's way of trying to sway more voters to vote Democratic this next election given how much the media loves him.
I didn't like him on a personal level, but absolutely loved him for what he did for this country. People today can't seem to differentiate between personal feelings and the good of the country.
I don't give a rats a$$ about a person on a personal level if they can excel at the job that they are supposed to do, and he excelled at running the country.
I would love to see him run as a vice-president to someone such as Desantis. I think that the people that would not vote for him as president would still vote for Desantis. I am afraid if he ran, enough people would not vote for him because they didn't like him on a personal level that the election would be handed to the Democrats, PLUS with the fraudulent voting, the Dems have proven that they know how to beat the system and not get caught.
Why do you think they are all in favor for opening the border? Do you think that all the people that are let into this country will vote against the party that allowed them to come in?

Some states are giving them IDs and/or drivers licenses. Not a big step to vote then.

My brother who worked top secret for GE military stated that we are still under military law. There is a good chance that in 2022 there will be a remake of the 2020 election. The military will run and supervise the election. By the way this happened once before during Lincoln election. Not sure if all States or the ones with major fraud. If I get confirmation I'll pass it on. He stated that something is going on. Every year GE and the US military has a party at his farm. Even retired it still happens. 4 Star Generals have been there in the past. No notice until until 11 hour type deal. One year I happened to be there. I just stayed away for the most part. Little overwhelming when Generals are there.
