My buddy had been saying for years that he'd like to get an old 22 rifle back in working order. He got this from his Dad back in the 70's. It had been sitting around collecting dust for decades and looked pretty rough. So we hooked up over the weekend to see what we could do with the ole rifle. After a quick check, it appeared that it was just covered with years of dust. I was glad I had watched a few videos on disassembly. We only wanted to take this down so far. The bolt disassembly looked fairly complicated and I figured it would not be worth the effort until we determined how well she shot and cycled. We kept the cleaning to the trigger assembly, bolt assembly, and barrel. Then some light Lucas oil. The first few shots cycled perfectly! The groups were decent from 25 yards, but about 3" high. A few adjustments later and we were happy campers!
