Much like my son getting his gobbler on Wednesday, my hunt this morning on the same property went pretty good this morning! I was attempting to film the hunt and harvest my bird all by myself, so I was shocked when I saw several birds headed my way across the field. Just what I needed....even more eyes to see me as the sun shined into my blind but I managed to pull it off with the help of my GoPro out in the decoys. My Dave Smith Jake Decoy did take some BB's, but he will be just fine...the gobbler on the other hand had a massive head ache!
