I don't know, math is hard. I got it off the internet and it works. If you're using a 10% solution like you said, that's where the extra decimal point is at. If you're using pure permethrin, then yeah it would be 5%, probably high enough to be uncomfortable. Ok that makes sense, thank you.

I've had 4 on me this year. Only one had already dug in and it was only in me for about a minute. Terrible little devils.

I've now had 2. Both I picked up in the yard.
I went fishing and drug the boat between 4 or 5 pits and never picked one up in my treated clothes (treated last spring)
Guess I need to treat the yard.

I do that with our campsite. Just mix up some permethrin in a tank sprayer and cover the whole site.
