My neighbor the lives at the top of the private drive at the public road informed me yesterday that a pair of red foxes had 6 little ones under the front poach a couple housed down the street. I've asked them how many years and they said this is their four year. I have seen foxes a lot the last couple years. More than normal. That is about the same time the turkey numbers started to drop. I noticed about 5 years ago. I guess is goes around in a circle. There are plentiful years to drought years. I've been trapping the wrong animal!

Not saying they don't have some effect but your nest robbers (coon, skunk, possum, and crows) cause way more an issue predator wise.

I’ve got a bobcat that lives on my property, yet I’m seeing tons of turkeys. It’s the 3 coons that are always on my camera that bother me more

I believe so too, and the neighbor's chickens are getting visited by the coons. He has 2 "live" traps outside the coop, there are 6 less coon so far this year. I have pictures of 5 coon in one pic on my trail cam. LOTS of coons here.

I've had a lot of all the others, but now a lot of foxes might have been the tipping point. Saw them again this morning. Neighbor and I have taken most coons out. A good couple dozen, but no improvement in numbers. I do have a lot a great horned owls and they can do some damage.
