I was watching a hunting show on tv and the game that the 2 hunters were hunting were Moose . The one hunter made a bad shot and the moose dropped but as the shooter approached the downed Moose the Moose jumped up and charged the shooter and the 2nd hunter dropped the Moose for good ( killed the Moose ) ( and both hunters had a tag each ) . My question is who would be the legal tagger the first shooter or the second shooter who finished off the Moose ? Reason why I'm asking is if that scenario happened in Indiana but instead of Moose the game animal would be a Deer .

You have proposed a great scenario. IF this situation was to occur, contact your local Conservation Officer or our Central Dispatch Center at 8128379536. I hope you have a fabulous day.
