I got the truck out of the barn and didn't lift until I got to the road. The drifts in the driveway were tall enough I was taking a few inches off with the bumper.
At work it looks like we got about 8 inches over night. Gonna be a long boring day, 4 total people in the building and a crap shoot as to what trucks make it.

My work cancelled today. I got the call AFTER I had been driving for 30 minutes.

Headed out to start throwing snow. It's hard to get a good measurement on the actual snow accumulation due to all the drifting. I'm guessing at least 8"-10".

I bet women can really relate to this. Promised 8 inches, but only got 4.

She's 35 years old now and I paid $35 for her some ~10 years ago. Little old 3hp Snapper! One of my wife's garage sale finds on a summer day. It wouldn't start so I gave the guy the cash and brought her home! I put in a new plug and fresh fuel and she fired right up! Still going strong! But, with almost a foot of snow and some area drifted higher, it's almost too much for her to handle!

I'm taking a break to make lunch. My path to my wood shed (250' from my house) is completely gone and then some. The drifts are a good 3'-4' in spots. The snow is light so I am getting through it okay. Just takes a few passes over it.

Also, my mailbox has been maimed. I believe I can fix it though. I guessing a quick pass by from county highway knocked it loose.

If it's the actual snow that hits and damages it, then it's on you. Mine was recently knocked apart from a wet snow they launched.

If he would had actually ran it over that'd be one thing but, just plowing snow and getting hit with the snow is another. Mailbox is fixed and good as new. My once cleared path to the wood shed was waist deep in spots. It's all cleaned back up and ready for the next one👍

Got to love having a drive right past the apex of a curve. I almost didn't get into the drive coming 9ff a completely clear road. The pile the snow plow left was tall, wide, and partially frozen. I drug coming through and when I went back out with the snow blower I could see my tires were about 6 inches off the ground. I'm currently waiting to get yelled at because I gave the plow pile back.....

Talk about a letdown. Medic22 posted about women being promised 8” and only get 4”. Highcotten came right back with “she’s 35 years old and I paid $35 for her 10 years ago”. I really thought this thread was going somewhere!

Serious side I’d probably just rented a skid steer but that will work!
