Yet another political charade by the Democrats. They absolutely knew this was dead on arrival and, for the second time, wasted taxpayer money and legislative time.
It would be nice if the legislature, Democrats and Republicans alike, would solve some damn problems and quit the senseless partisan bickering.

I'm glad, but we all know this won't be their last attempt to destroy him. They have a great fear of him

Yeah, anyone with eyes and ears could plainly see he had absolutely nothing to do with inciting an angry mob, right?

Yeah, anyone with eyes and ears could plainly see he had absolutely nothing to do with inciting an angry mob, right? What was the point of attempting to impeach an ex-president? Is it even a thing? What value did the dnc think they will gain from it? In my eyes I think they are looking more foolish than ever.

I would love to see the party have to foot the bill for expenses for all these firviolous lawsuits. If the suit is started by a Democrat and fails, then the DNC foots the whole bill. If the Republicans start the lawsuit and it fails, then the RNC foots the bill.
That may put a limit on what is done, and they can get back to working for their constituents like they should be doing now.

I don't think it is over. I think it will go to the courts next. The 43 Republican senators will have satisfied the Trump constituents and can say they stood up to the Democrats. They do not have to support him in the courts.

They do not have to support him in the courts. Why did they go through the 2nd trial in the 1st place? There has to be a reason. That should be explained to the masses. It has nothing to do about what Trump did or didn't do. To attempt to impeach someone not currently in office doest add up for me. What am I missing?

When Chief Justice Roberts, no fan of Trump, declined to preside over the impeachment hearings, it should have stopped right there.
I have always said that if YOU file a lawsuit, accuse, sue, etc. and lose, YOU should be responsible for ALL legal fees. That would stop some of this crap.

Good idea bad thing it’s still our taxes wasted no matter who pays if it came out of the millions we’ve paid them the money the lobbyists have paid them and they felt the pain personally it may change

Trump lives rent free inside their hollow little soft heads. He was the last stumbling block in the way of socialism. And now we have it, the bunch of ignorant zombies that we are.
