Anyone know how long it takes rule changes to become in effective once approved? I can see on the DNR website the final vote is scheduled for 3/16, but it says they still need final approval by the AG and governors office. Primarily I’m curious as to whether or not if the rule change to be able to use TSS #9 is approved, whether or not it would be in effect for the upcoming Turkey season.

Someone here with some knowledge of how the system works said that it might be fall before all those go through. Now I'm not sure if some will get through before then or not but I wouldn't plan on all of the rule changes to go through until fall. So plan on #9 TSS for 2022 and you'll be good. As I have proven many times in my life.... I could be wrong on that though

Depends if it goes through proper channels OR legislators attempt to do circumvent the process LOL

On the DNR web site it says March for a decision. I was looking to see if they published comments yet. I just stumbled across it.

I just stumbled across it. “To request a copy of comments submitted for a proposed rule package, or any other written information associated with a proposed rule, send your request to the Commission by regular mail or by email. Please provide the LSA Document number as listed in the rulemaking docket in your request.”
