You can throw away all the mechanical broadhead. They are all garbage in my opinion. I follow Don Higgins opinion.
Best statement. 30.05 I wish I was shooting a fix blade.

Any broadhead, placed correctly, will kill animals. And the toy broadhead would also kill placed in the perfect spot. I don't have the skill to paint the perfect spot on an feed ranging animal. Come on now.

I would have liked the plywood test quartering to or away test. They even stated it's the closest to a rib. I notice they stayed away from that test.

When I shot a compound bow, I shot the Muzzy 3-blade 100 grain, and killed a lot of deer with it. When I had to switch to a crossbow, the crossbow shot so fast, I didn`t have any luck tuning it with fixed blade broadheads, they just shoot too fast. Having said that, I know it`s possible, because a lot of guys shoot their crossbows with fixed blade broadheads. I just didn`t have the time or patience to deal with it. Since I`ve hunted with a crossbow, I`ve shot the NAP Spitfires, and have had zero issues with them. They fly true, exactly like a field tip, and I`ve always had great blood trails and recovered all my deer. The Spitfires are what killed my biggest buck to date, and I went right through the shoulder. Anything can fail, and the time could come when a Spitfire fails me, but I researched them before settling on them and they at the time had the best reviews I found.
